Kirsty began her legal career in South Africa as a litigation lawyer before moving to New Zealand and redirecting her practise towards private client law.

Since 2018, Kirsty has specialised in helping individuals and families protect and manage their wealth. Her areas of expertise include asset planning, trusts, relationship property matters, wills, enduring powers of attorney and Occupation Right Agreements for retirement villages.

Kirsty joined Gaze Burt in 2026. She is local to the Hibiscus Coast and is based in our Silverdale office.

Outside of work, Kirsty enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and young family. She is also a keen baker and loves getting stuck into a good book.
