Carolina is part of the employment team, supporting employers and employees to navigate complex workplace issues and processes.

Carolina brings a considered and people-focused approach to her work, valuing clear communication and taking care to understand each client’s situation, recognising that employment issues have legal and personal impacts for the people involved.

Carolina works across a range of employment matters, including personal grievances, disciplinary and performance processes, restructures and redundancies, and workplace investigations. She has been closely involved in preparing for mediations, judicial settlement conferences, and Employment Relations Authority proceedings, including drafting pleadings, submissions, and settlement agreements.

Carolina also advises on employment agreements, contractor arrangements, and workplace policies. She has experience reviewing and drafting documentation to ensure compliance with current legislation and supporting the implementation of contractual changes.

Carolina has a strong interest in how emerging tools, including AI, can support legal analysis and client service delivery.

Outside the office, Carolina is actively involved in her church community and is both an editor and writer for a Christian magazine. Otherwise, you will find her reading, following the NBA, or spending time with friends and family, usually over a board game or movie night.
