Maria Oesterle has joined our North Shore office as our new trusts service administrator.
Maria qualified as a lawyer in the Philippines in 2006 and is working towards admission here in New Zealand. She has always been interested in the study of law, and finds it fulfilling and meaningful to be involved in legal service.
She has most recently been working at a boutique law firm here in Auckland, specialising in cross border litigation, before taking a break to complete her cross qualification study requirements.
Maria always wanted to work for a firm that imbibes a close knit team culture and a friendly and supportive working environment. She’s now enjoying the challenges she encounters every day by dealing with trust concerns and compliance with the new law, the opportunity to grow her knowledge, and time with colleagues brainstorming to address trust-related legal problems.
Outside of work, Maria is proud to be a member of the Harbour Voices chorale group and Shorinji Kempo martial arts group. She enjoys the great outdoors with her husband and 6 year old daughter.
