Our practice dates back to two Auckland law firms established in the 1920’s. The values and heritage of these firms continue in the current partners, and underpin our desire to “see law differently” by emphasising care and understanding in all we do.
This role is fixed term over the 2018/2019 university holiday period for the purposes of the candidate gaining work experience in a law firm, and to assist our busy trust service.
You will be based at our Albany office working a 37.5 hour week over the holiday period (November-February).
You will be supporting our trusts administrator with scanning files, producing letters, data entry, and file management. We need a committed worker with a great attitude, attention to detail, accuracy, and compatibility with our values. Interest in private practice/trusts is an advantage, as is completion of a trusts-related paper during study.
In return we hope to give the successful candidate exposure to various practice areas while they are with us, so upon finishing their term they have a good understanding of what working life looks like day to day in a mid tier firm.
If this sounds like the role for you, please apply with your CV and a cover letter to firstname.lastname@example.org.
You must have the right to work in New Zealand to apply for this position. Applications will close Friday 19 October. Candidates may not be contacted until after this date.
