Les Allen has a clear vision that comes with over 40 years’ practice in commercial law. He has amassed a wealth of expertise in commercial law, property and family trusts. Holding a Master of Taxation Studies, Les regularly acts for clients on tax matters including disputes with the IRD.

“My goal is to effectively represent your interests whether that’s a business sale or purchase, corporate restructure, advice on a family trust or non-profit body, or a dispute with IRD. And that means giving you the best possible advice for your situation.”

He is legal advisor for a number of SMEs assisting with all their legal needs and commonly acts for clients buying or selling businesses in the $100,000 to $30 million range.

Les is passionate about gaining the best possible outcomes for clients. He is also sought after by not for profit organisations for advice on issues unique to the sector. Les is a Notary Public as well as a senior member of the New Zealand Trustees Association.

A proud father of five children (and with seven grandchildren), he is a keen tennis fan. Les has also recently published his first crime novel, with a sequel on the way.
