Michael has been a lawyer since 1980 and a partner of Gaze Burt since 1985. As a Notary Public, he is qualified to validate the execution of documents for international use.
Michael specialises in advising private clients.
In 1989 he established the North Shore office of Gaze Burt. He has an expanding tax, property and asset planning practice based at that office.
His property practice spans residential, rural and commercial property. Michael advises a large number of small to medium sized businesses.
He is a senior member of the New Zealand Trustees Association.
Michael’s other interests include: Registered Trustee of the New Zealand Trustees Association; Member of Institute of Chartered Accountants Trust Special Interest Group; Board Member of Campus Crusade for Christ.
